This Old Mine Cut diamond was reclaimed from an antique piece of jewelry. It was most likely fashioned into a cut stone 150-200 years ago. 

Before the advent of modern gem-cutting technology, diamonds were cut by hand, often at the site of the mine and under low-light conditions like gaslight or candlelight.

The resulting wide, irregular facets on these early cuts are evident on this beautiful Old Mine Cut diamond, which also boasts a high degree of clarity, a unique color, and impactful size.

This stone may be returned for a full refund, or exchanged for store credit, within three days of pick-up or delivery receipt. After three days, a 15% restocking fee will be assessed on return of loose stones.
