Vintage Serpent Ring | Ruby + 18k Gold

This staggeringly beautiful ring is expertly crafted in 18 karat yellow gold, molded into the shape of a powerful serpent. The snake, set with ruby eyes and carved with incredible texture, is a striking motif that has historically represented eternal love, loyalty, and rebirth -- sinuous, overlapping curves symbolize a neverending cycle of endings and beginnings.

• The rubies each measure approximately 1mm in diameter
• This ring is currently a size 6. Please contact us with custom sizing requests.
• The ring measures about 1" from top to bottom with the band tapering from about 5mm to about 2mm at the back.
  
• Dating to c.1970, this ring may show signs of wear commensurate with its age. The ring has been evaluated to ensure the stone is secure and the metal in good condition, and it has been fully cleaned and polished.

This ring is part of our Amaranthine collection, which celebrates the ways in which jewelry is everlasting.  This ring was made in the 1970s and was selected by Christine at an antique jewelry show in 2023.
