These delightful drop earrings are crafted of 14k yellow gold and feature an amazing array of details. Victorians were fascinated by the discovery of the remains of Etruscan civilization and other archaeological excavations taking place around the world at that time, and fashion was greatly inspired by the motifs of ancient cultures. These earrings feature gold filigree wirework, decorating two hemispheres which meet on either side of a faceted amethyst bead, finished with a cream-colored pearl. Their petite size and beautiful detail will make these a surefire favorite in your jewelry collection!

- Dating to circa 1860, these earrings may show signs of wear commensurate with their age. They have been evaluated to ensure the stones are secure and the metal in good condition, and have been fully cleaned and polished.
