Gilded Relic Bar Stud Earrings

Contemporary meets traditional in these small but mighty stud earrings. Crafted using a combination of ancient jewelry techniques, this piece is handformed of fine and sterling silver and gilded in 24k gold. 

Created by casting molten silver in sand, these studs feature a dramatic, organic quality. Accented with sheets of glinting gold, their texture, shape, and color provide striking contrast.

• The posts and earring backs are oxidized silver.

The Gilded Relic Collection features a traditional Korean gilding technique known as keum-boo, in which thin sheets of 24k gold are permanently bonded to fine silver using heat and pressure. The result is a striking contrast between oxidized metal and the vibrant color of pure gold.
