This Relic style pendant features an ancient coin circa 268-270 AD. One side of the coin depicts a consecration/fire altar and the other side of the coin is the head of Claudius, who was a Roman emperor, ruling from AD 41 to 54.

Our Relic styles are handcrafted using traditional sandcasting techniques. The bezel surrounding this coin was formed from wax that was used to create a mold in sand. Molten gold was poured into this mold, resulting in the rich, one-of-a-kind texture you see.

Measures approx 20mm round with a total drop of 28mm.
