Glacier Studs | Herkimer Quartz Stud Earrings

Little pieces of ice, caught in the light. Each Glacier stud holds a raw Herkimer quartz crystal in a simple handmade bezel, so the crystal's natural facets get to do all the sparkling. No two pairs are quite alike, and that's the charm.

• Mini: about 5.5–6.5mm x 4–4.5mm. A quiet little sparkle for every day or a second piercing.
• Classic: about 9–10mm x 6–7mm. A bit more presence, still easy to wear.

Herkimer quartz, sometimes called a "Herkimer diamond," is mined in Herkimer, New York, and comes out of the ground already faceted. These crystals are never cut or polished, so every stone has its own little quirks.
