Rosewater | Pink Portrait-Cut Sapphire Necklace, 0.79 ct

Rosewater is a soft wash of pink, a stone you can see straight through. A 0.79 ct portrait-cut sapphire from Madagascar is cut thin and flat like a pane of tinted glass, its faceted edges tracing an elongated octagon. Four slender 14k yellow gold claw prongs hold it open to the light, so it picks up the warmth of your skin beneath it, and it drops from a simple bail on a fine cable chain. An everyday piece that feels delicate and a little unexpected.
